Recommended installation method of KOYOIBUSHI
User Manual (for wall & for floor)
- ・Must be used with adhesive
- ・Use silicone type adhesive
- ・Do not grout with tiles with mesh backing, please install by groutless method
- ・Connected part may be seen through gaps for products with joints
- ・When using it outside or in a place exposed to water, ensure water resistance with the base.
- ・Do not stick curing tape or any kind of adhesive tape directly on products.
- ・As our products are unglazed, the fingerprint might give the tiles an oil stain. Please use gloves when installing tiles.
- ・Do not acid wash tiles
- ・Do not use acidic or alkaline detergents or cleansers for maintenance.
- ・Please inquiry as the stock is limited. Production time is around 1 month.
- ・Size is a standard dimension. If may vary depending on lot.
How to install our products on wall
- ・Must be installed with adhevisve
- ・Suitable materials as base are mortar, concrete, extruded cement panel, ALC panel, board.
- ・Use the adhesive immediately after opening.
- ・Adjust the quantity and thickness of adhesive with trowel comb.
- ・Do not leave any spaces and use sufficient adhesive to be around 2 to 3mm thickness as it is groutless installation.
- ・The area applied per application of the adhesive should be the area recommended by the adhesive to be applied within the time that can be applied.
- ・If the product and the surface of the base are wet, dry them well before applying the adhesive.
- ・To prevent the surrounding parts such as sashes from getting dirty, use masking tape suitable for the parts to protect them in advance.
- ・Do not use water absorber or sealer as it may weaken adhesive.
- ・If you put too much adhesive, it may cause the tiles to come off.
- ・Use hand to push evenly the irregular surfaced tiles as smoothing them by wood block may not be enough.
- ・Work accordingly to instruction manual of adhesive to be used.
How to install our products on floor
- ・Must be installed with adhevisve
- ・For use on interrior floor of mortar or plywood.
- ・Use adhesive immediately after opening.
- ・Adhesive should be applied on the floor and not on the tiles as tiles may break or crack with weight or shock.
- ・The area applied per application of the adhesive should be the area recommended by the adhesive to be applied within the time that can be applied.
- ・If the product and the surface of the base are wet, dry them well before applying the adhesive.
- ・To prevent the surrounding parts such as sashes from getting dirty, use masking tape suitable for the parts to cure them in advance.
- ・Do not use water absorber or sealer as it may weaken adhesive.
- ・Work accordingly to instruction manual of adhesive to be used.
